Rendez Vous Booking Calendar

  • Ideally, users should be able to see the booked time slots on the calendar of the “When” portion of the Rendez Vous creation process. Then, they would only be able to schedule meetings for available time slots.

    When you combine this with the Venue taxonomy, you get the ability to set schedules based on the chosen Venue. To schedule multiple meeting rooms for example.

    I think this would be a great way to schedule meetings on your site and it could easily out perform many of the premium scheduling plugins out there.

    What do you think about the possibility of these ideas?

    Hi Thanks for your feedback, i guess it could be interesting.

    But with this plugin :
    – i’m not trying to “compete” with premiums as it’s free an i get no money, it will never be as great as these ??
    – you can also contribute and fork/ pull request in the plugin’s github repo https://github.com/imath/rendez-vous

    A taxonomy for venue: i’m not sure today it can be anything a slack Channel, a website, a phone, a conférence room.. It’s not necessary geographical.

    Booked time : this plugin is not an event manager or time manager, it simply tries to help people find a common time to meet. I think it will complexify the UI.
