This afternoon while i was updating i already noticed something was going wrong. The 4.1.1 update wouldn’t start and after that permalinks on the site itself where refering to google?

After restarting the browser i can’t even get on the site, the login appears but after entering name and password the browser goes to google.

Was it doing that before the update?

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

It was working just fine, i already tried resetting the plugins on ftp, doesn’t seem to work.

Theme renaming might work, haven’t tried that.

But i think it’s a wordpress 4.1.1 error, will uploading wp on ftp work and not cause to much work/damage on the site itself?

With one other site it was “Semalt Redirect Manager” i suspected something like this could be the case. This plugin redirects the crawlsite Semalt to google.

Now trying to if thats the case with other sites.

But if your permalinks and site login refer to goolge.x and you have the semalt redirect manager that might be the problem.

If you’re using the Jetpack plugin for stats, you can just mark Semalt as a spam referrer to keep them from messing up your stats: https://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#marking-spam-referrers

Alternatively, you can block them via .htaccess without needing a plugin: https://logorrhoea.net/2014/01/how-to-block-semalt-com-referrer-traffic-using-htaccess/
