Fatal Error On Fresh Install

    Hi all,
    Tried searching the forums for a solution but no luck. This is a fresh install of WP 2.2. After inputting my blog title and email i’m given this error.

    Second Step

Now we’re going to create the database tables and fill them with some default data.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function generate_page_uri_index() in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-includes/rewrite.php on line 859

    Is this a mod_rewrite issue? Thanks for the responses.

  • you didnt upload wp-includes/post.php or if you did, its corrupt. Make sure its there — if it is, delete it and reupload a fresh copy.

    thanks whooami, looks like the file was corrupt for some reason.
