GeneratePress adding blog post excerpts to static front page

    Hi Tom, I’m trying to create a design similar to https://www.saragottfriedmd.com/ so will have a big call to action image on home page and below it some blog excerpts and right hand column and maybe footer widgets too.

    Unfortunately I have no idea how best to display that call to action image, with a slider maybe?

    And I haven’t a clue how to pull in blog excerpts onto a static home page.

    Can you advise the best way to do this for your theme please?

    Hi Sarah,

    You could do a slider-like header using the Page Header add-on ??

    As for the posts – I’m not sure. I have a plugin 50% built that displays posts with a shortcode, but it’s not ready.
