    Hi, when you compose a newsletter (did you compose one?), you have a set of option related to the theme and then you have a visual editor to modify the newsletter as you prefer.

    Dohh! I think I shot myself in the foot.

    I created a custom theme in December of last year.
    It looks like all the files in the plugin are dated jan 16, so I must have installed a new release and clobbered my theme. Hopefully I can salvage it from one of my, regretfully infrequent, backups.

    I tried opening a new message from the “Newsletters” page and it dumped all my posts into it. Is there a way I can set get it to grab only the posts with a specific tag?

    Thanks for the quick response ??

    You can change the filter inside the theme, find the $filters (if you copied the default one you should have it) and add

    $filters[‘tag’] = ‘tag slug’;

    Save the theme inside wp-content/extensions/newsletter/emails/themes and it will survive the update.

    See that page:

    Just to be sure I understand …
    If I set:

    $filters[‘tag’] = ‘tag slug’;

    Will that cause the newsletter to include only the posts which are tagged with both “tag” and “slug”, or something different?

    Yes … it is working. Thanks!
