[Plugin: autoptimize] Breaks easy fancybox in IE8

    Hi!

    When I activate autoptimize plugin it breakes easy fancy box in ie8. It works in chrome, firefox and safari. When I deactivete autoptimize images in ie8 opens in fancy box. What could be a problem? I haven’t tried newer IE. But I want this to work in ie8.

  • Well, generally, have a look at the FAQ for info on how to troubleshoot.

    Specifically, you’ll probably have to exclude the easy fancy box JS (and possibly jquery as well) from being optimized and/ or setting the “force JS into head” option.

    I previously tried excluding easy fancy box JS, but it didn’t work.
    But other suggestion worked! I enabled “force JS into head” option and now easy fancy box works in ie8.

    Should I also use along “Look for scripts only in <head>”?

    Well, the 2 “head”-options can be used separately, but if it works without that option (which will probably be removed from AO in the future), then there’s no need to activate it.
