404 errors on product pages. Permalinks?

Hi there,
I started using a premium theme (Kleo) and upgraded to Woocommerce 2.2.8 and now my product pages do not display.
My wordpress permalinks are setup like so: /%category%/
My woocommerce permalinks are setup like so: /shop/%product_cat%
However, nothing that I do to the woocommerce permalinks makes and difference unless the wordpress permalinks are set to default. This is not an option.
