Login to wp-admin get Not Found, Error 404

    Usually all works well. However, unable to login to my web site from the normal user (domain name and /wp-admin/ address).

    What steps need to be done to login ?

    What happened before the problem started? Did you change is set anything?

    No changes were made. Same error using Chrome, IE, Firefox and Opera

    If account was hacked, who and how can I contact?

    Is there a way to contact WordPress directly?

    Yes, you can contact WordPress if its hosted with wordpress.com but if its self hosted, you need to log in to your hosting control panel and check what the problem is.

    That’s the issue, I have no link, email or phone number to get in direct touch with WordPress. Can anyone help?

    There is no email or phone support – these forums are the support for www.remarpro.com sites. What is your site URL?

    Can u replace wp-login.php with a fresh one? And did u tried a different theme? Did u try disable plugins? Themes and plugins can manipulate wp-login.php. As u can’t access admin panel, temporary rename plugin folder name and try to switch default theme twenty fourteen.
    phpmyadmin>DB>wp_options table>template & stylesheet(may be in 2nd page).
    change value to twentyforteen. And see what happens

    I’m not hosting the site a my own server. Go Daddy has the domain name registration and WordPress (site is Self Hosted www.remarpro.com ) have a yearly fee paid ONCE a year.

    WordPress has worked fine from creation 2010.

    Just updated early this morning.

    Can I use a third party service to host and gain access if I am not able?

    www.remarpro.com does not host any sites – so your site is not hosted by WordPress unless it is on WordPress.COM (which it is not).

    THANKS for all the help.

    Resolved that the host added an anti-hacker protection. I’ve added your IP to the access list and you should be able to access the admin-log-in now.

    All is OK now. Appreciate all the input.
