• Hello I am using SP 1.6 Pro for Soccer.

If you create or edit a [Calendar] entry you can only chose and set one season and one competition. But in the [quick edit] mode you may chose more than one( which obviously makes sense). Therefore Whenever you [edit ] and make a change in a specific calendar enty, after the update the setting will turn back to one single season and/or competition although you had chosen initially more than one through the [quick edit] mode.

The issue it is the same issue for the [Event]+[League tables]+ [Player Lists] menus.

BUT on the other hand for [Players] and for [Teams] the multiple selection of seasons and competitions work just like it should, in [quick edit] mode AND in [edit] or [Add New] mode. (did you just maybe forget to extend the same functionality to the other menus?!)

These two errors make unfortunately the plugin unusable! When I assign rights to coaches to edit events, calendars, player lists, they will unset all the seasons/competitions parameters that were assigned to those records. It messes everything up!

I don’t know if I am right or if I misunderstood something in functional logics , but if this is a recognised issue it would need a VERY quick fix or an instruction me on how to fix it with a workaround.

Thanks for your attention and for the very interesting plugin you’ve developed.

@emmise thanks for your feedback. This is a very good point and we’re going to release an update soon that will enable multiple seasons and competitions to be selected per event, calendar, player list, and league table.

I’ve just pushed this change to the development version on our GitHub project, which you can download directly from GitHub. You can also see the changes made in this commit.

Thanks Brian for your very prompt reply. We are discovering and looking with a lot of interest at your plugin. It has everything it needs to become a very powerful tool for you and us. We have noticed other little problems which look to us as functional or bugging issues. I’d appreciate if you could let me know what would be for you the most suitable way to share them with you. Is this forum the right place or do you prefer it by email @ your help address?

I went on the GitHub and found the new files. I’ve replaced them in the directories (sportspress directory ) of the Free SportPress plugin and everything works just perfectly!

Nevertheless I am using the pro version (sportspress-pro directory ) . I’ve found similar folders under sportspress-pro/includes/sportpress but after replacing the files, no result, the plugin seemed to keep functioning as the previous version. It was maybe not the right place..

Could you let me know how to proceed to get the new files implemented in the pro version.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello Brian.
I’d appreciate very much to get an small answer about the location of the folders and files of the pro version in which I could paste the new versions.
    Thanks for your understanding.
