    Hi,

I just tried to install InfiniteWP – the actual app, not the plugin – on my Bluehost WordPress optimised blogger package without any success. I called Tech support a few times and at the beginning they where unaware of this issue and troubleshooted for the cause of the error but then suggested that InfiniteWP would not run on Nginx and finally in my last call said flat out that Bluehost is not supporting InfiniteWP on their WordPress package – which seems awfully strange?!

Does anyone have any experience with this or is actually successfully using InfiniteWP on Nginx or a Bluehost WP package? I am still not convinced that it’s not possible to install it since the Tech staff seemed completely unsure at the beginning.

    Thanks

Maybe try setting the wp-config keys the same at all sites and see whether that helps. When the plugin tells the site to send a logged-in signal, the browser will still need to participate in the handshake.

Thanks, but the problem here is with installing InfiniteWP itself – not with the plugin.

I know this was from 2 months ago, but the IWP plugin does work on Nginx. I manage WordPress sites that use Nginx and the IWP plugin with no issues.

Hopefully your issue has been resolved ??

@OmegaSupreme Thanks! But it was not the WordPress Plugin I had issues with but IWP itself. It seems that The IWP Admin Panel does not run on Nginx. I only got IWP to work after “downgrading” to Apache again.

@frankgresslin, my mistake. I did have it running on Nginx, but due to another software on that VPS, I had to change to Apache. The only minor issue with Nginx are the possible variations that one could build compared to examples that exist.

Have you tried contacted the IWP team? I’ve had to contact them the odd time and they have been helpful.
