Express checkout problem

    Hi there
    I have some checkout problem, they keep show up like this:
    Error Code: 10002
    Error Severity Code: Error
    Short Error Message: Authentication/Authorization Failed
    Detailed Error Message: You do not have permissions to make this API call

    Is it because I need paypal pro account? because I don’t have it.
    Please help me figure out how to fix this.

    Are you just trying to setup Express Checkout? That does not require Payments Pro, but it does require a Business/Premiere account. Is your account a Personal account, by chance?

    I’m only have personal account, so I can use that function? How much it cost for business/premiere cost? Thank you so much!

    You will need to update your account to a business account in order to use Express Checkout. There is no charge for this. The only time you pay more than the regular fee for PayPal transactions is when you go with Payments Pro.

    You can update your account by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account.
    2. Click the Profile icon next to “Log out.”
    3. Click Upgrade to a business account.
    4. Enter your business information and click Continue.
