Re-Installation problem

Hi, im a noob, i uploaded all my files in the wordpress file to my server, so what happend was, that i had to type; https://www.domain.com/wordpress/index.php….I then transfered all my files from wordpress to my main folder so; https://www.domain.com/index.php. Unfortunatly it did not work, and i was stuck with an index page with no images and bad links directed to my old folder (www.domain.com/wordpress/). So i deleted everything and i re-uplaoded and still didnt work. What should i do?
