favicon with Graphy Theme

  • I have uploaded a favicon.ico and added a link to it in the header.php in my child version. I see the link rel in the page source, and see the .ico file when I put the href into the browser address bar so it is all coded correctly, but the favicon.ico doesn’t appear.

    is there a place in the theme that hides it?
