I have just updates a childs theme of catchbox to 3.4 and am having issues with the spacing of some pages. The function to go full width and remove the sidebar does not work.

In fact the page template drop down box only changes when I use default template or blog template. The others just blank the side bar, but my text in my main category is truncated.

Is there a code fix anyone knows I can add to my child style css to fix this? Or is it something else.
    Any ideas please?

I’d suggest asking on the developer’s dedicated forums here:

@mrlennyman: Thanks we have found body_class issue after we update the template css. We have already submitted patch version 3.4.1 and will be live as soon as WordPress Theme Review team approves it.

lol…you would not believe how much hair pulling and teeth gnashing I have done with my pigeon like understanding of CSS!

Is there an ETA for the update perchance? What should I do in the interim?

@mrlennyman: see https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/page-template-problem/ (the last few posts may help you). I copied style.css from version 3.3, renamed the version internally to 3.4 and reappled the theme default page layout setting and it worked for me. Can’t of course guarantee that it’ll work for you so make sure you keep a backup copy of style.css in case.

    Hi dneale…thanks for that!
I reinstalled the 3.3 version at 4 in the morning!! All is well again.
If I rename the version to 3.4 in the style.css will that tell wordpress that I have updated?

Not quite sure how that part works (I was following a suggestion in the other thread). I expect you will receive an update notification when version 3.4.1 arrives.

    Sakin,

I have restored my entire site to how it was before the update as did not have a backup of the theme to hand.

    I am now running v3.3.

I also noticed that in 3.4 the H1-H5 settings appeared to have been affected as they all looked different.

Do you know when 3.4.1 is likely to be released?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello All,

Sorry for the trouble. Please check this https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/page-template-problem/#post-51590 where I have written how to update to Catch Box 3.4.2 before it’s live in www.remarpro.com

We are in waiting list and most probably within 3 to 4 days. That depends on the WordPress theme review.

    Regards,
    Sakin
