Posts not sending with wp better emails

ok, got it to send html but now post images not sending

I have disabled each plugin individually, re-installed wp-better-emails, tried everything possible and still can’t get the html to include the post images. I’ve been at this for so many hours and hate to give up such a great plugin. Does anyone know what is causing the elimination of images in html email? Plain text includes the images.
