Adding fields

  • I am trying to add a preferred method of contact field to the form with the choice of either email or phone. Not having any success doing this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I tried adding a new field to the form and saving it but it does not show up for me to drag it over to the form.

    Hi,

    To be sure that you created the field, in the “Fields” page, can you see your new field on the right?

    After you have created a new field, if you had the form edit page already opened, you have to click on “Save settings” (if you don’t want to lose the modifications) and reload the page to see on the left the fields created after you opened the form edit page.

    If this solved your issue please let me know, or ask if you have other issues

    Hello,

    No I cannot see the field on the right side. I’m choosing add a new field, field label name Preferred method of contact. Field type multiple check boxes, default value(s) Email|Phone. I choose add new field and nothing gets saved. Thank you.

    Maybe you are saving the field but you got an error message, like a wrong character in the slug field.

    I just noticed that the error message in this case is not visible very well, so check after you save if there is an error message under the title of the page.

    I’ll make this message more visible in the next version, meanwhile please let me know if it solves your issue.
