Had our website built by a guy who does this on the side. He set it up, showed us how to use/update it, and walked away. Everything seemed to be fine. Until 6 months after the launch I sent a test inquiry through our contact us page (not contact form plugin) and did not receive it in the destination outlook inbox. It’s not is spam either. Changed destination inbox to different employees outlook email, no email. Changed it to a gmail account and now inquiries are received. How can I fix this so I receive inquiries through my outlook account and is there anyway to receive the past inquiries. It would be rough to have to abandon all the business inquiries that have come in over even the last month. Please help

What plugin are you using for the contact form?

No plug in as far as I know. This is a ‘contact us’ page that has the page attributes as “template = contact page” and a couple options for ‘ET page template settings’ box where I designate an email address for inquiries to be sent. I know this isn’t very helpful but neither was the support I got from the site creator. The only active plug-ins I have are go daddy quick set up, google map widgets, jetpack by wordpress.com, and wordpress seo. Any direction you can offer is huge. This is driving me nuts. thanks

Ah, ok, that’s probable being added by your theme then.

What is your theme called, and where did you get it from?

It’s the “Trim” theme version 2.2 by elegant themes. Found widgets in there, not sure if any are important. There’s archives, blog subscriptions, calendar, categories, custom menu, display wordpress posts, et about me widget, et adsense widget, et advertisement, Facebook like box, google maps widget, gravatar profile, image (jetpack), links, meta, pages, recent comments, recent posts, retired: send to readmill, rss, rss links, search, tag cloud, text, top posts & pages, twitter timeline, and then one under inactive widgets is et about me widget: contact us

Ok, if you use a commercial theme and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Alright, thanks for getting me this far, I wouldn’t have gotten here alone.
