• First, I should say that I love this plugin!

I did find a problem that occassionally pops up. Sometimes the image URL includes parameters, such as:

    https://website.com/path/to/image.jpg?w=280

Auto Upload Images correctly finds the image and saves it to filename:

    /wp-content/uploads/2015/02/image.jpg?w=280

But drops the “?w=280” when it creates the replacement link in the post. At the moment, when I find these resulting apparently dead image links, I have to find and rename the file to fix it.

If would definately be good if the plugin would just drop the parameter part of the name before saving the file.

    Thank you.

I have seen this also. If you’re using IFTTT to post Facebook images to WordPress, the Auto Uploader fails to reference the images correctly exactly for the reason mentioned above.

The uploader needs to remove the portion of the URL after the “?” in order for the filenames to match.
