• Hi

I am writing a newsletter in Microsoft Sharepoint where each news is directed/linked to my website as posts in a menu called “News”. So a newsletter is basically a range of posts on my website. I want the people that receive my newsletter to be the first ones to see the the posts on my website. That is why I want the posts on my website to be uncategorized or hidden so that the only way anyone can see them is through the newsletter made in Sharepoint.

After two days I activate the posts and put them in the “News” category.

This has worked fine until recently when my website got infected by malware and had to be built up again.

Does anyone know how I can hide and “unhide” posts?

    Regards,

    Saud

  • Are you using the Montezuma theme?

One of the features of WordPress (and this is for all theme, not just Montezuma), is that you can set the date of a post so it doesn’t appear until the Publish date. For example, if you know that an article is going to be published in your newsletter that is going out on Feb. 14, and you don’t want the post to appear on your web site until Feb. 16, then set the publish date to Feb. 16 (look for the date in the upper right corner of the post editor). That way you can still set the category to News and you won’t have to go back and change it later. It will then automatically appear on your site on the date & time that you set.

If you have questions that are specific to the Montezuma theme, please post them on the Bytes for All forum
