• Hi,

So my boss has this site “https://www.hobokenhomefinder.com/” and we are having some issues. The site was built by using WordPress but by a third party company that will not provide any support. I can log into the site but the Dashboard menus & features are not functioning. I need to update to the most recent versions of WordPress and plugins but cannot because of my dashboard is not working. I was told that if I disable/remove all my plugins it might fix this issue, how do I do this?

I honestly have no idea on how to use WordPress. I know that the site is running a old version of wordpress and that many of the plugins need to be updated. Please advise if you can.

First make sure that you’re logging in to WordPress with a user that has admin capability. If the user doesn’t have admin capability, you won’t have all the capabilities in the dashboard.

To disable the plugins, you need access to the files either through FTP or through a hosting control panel.

Temporarily rename each plugin folder to something else.

There are lots of places to learn WordPress. Try WPBeginner.com I learned it myself and so can you.
