Text edits not saving in widget

    Hi

    I am using a gantry template (titania) and starting to get the hang of it. However, I want to change the template text obviously and have found the relevant widget in the home override under Feature. When I change the text and click the save button in the text widget it appears to save correctly but there is no change on the webpage. I have checked it in two browsers and there is no other save option in the widgets workspace.
    (On the webpage the parts are Texto de Bienvenida, Otra Information…)
    If I move the widget it saves in the new location absolutely fine. Ditto for any other widgets I move around. I have the same problem for the text in the Utility widget (where the 4 250×250 images are on the webpage)

    Have you contacted the theme’s author? It sounds like it is theme related. Very possible they might have hard-coded a widget by mistake>

    No, you have to subscribe for support which I don’t have. I found a solution though. I copied the coded from the text widget built into the theme under Feature, deleted the widget and copied it into another text widget. Dragged in the new widget and it works perfectly. Don’t ask me why that worked but it did.

    Firebug and a child theme did the trick. Should have done that from the start
