Media Link not showing up in admin

  • I have been racking my brain on this for the last couple of days. The Media Gallery is not showing up in the admin section of our site. When I login to the admin, I do not see the Media Library at all. Can someone assist?

    We are using U-Design, but what happen was when we installed buddy press and uninstalled it. The media gallery went bye bye. Now I am trying to figure out how to get it back.

    Try deactivation all your plugins and switching to another theme to see if the problem persists.

    I deactivated all the plugins and tried different themes and no go. I have been at this for about a month now and can’t figure it out.

    – try re-uploading the wp-admin directory from a fresh download of WP.
    – if issue persists, try increasing memory . sometime creasing memory can resolve many admin area issue.

    I just recreated the site. I am almost done now. It was taking way to long to just troubleshoot this strange issue. Thanks for your help. I also uploaded the wp-admin folder and that didn’t work as well.
