    The only way to do that currently would be to add this code to your footer.php file, just before the </body> tag:

    <script type=”text/javascript”>
    var addthis_share = addthis_share || {}
    addthis_share = {
    passthrough : {
    twitter: {
    via: “TWITTER USERNAME”
    }
    }
    }
    </script>

    Replace TWITTER USERNAME with the Twitter username – without the @ – that you’d like to use.

    Great. Thank you

    Do you think to add the twitter username in the dashboard?

    We’re working on adding this setting and others to the plugin.

    Thank you very much.

    Thanks for the feedback omnibus.

    In the 5.0 versions of the plugin, Twitter via username can be set in the Advanced Options tab of the plugins settings, in the Display Options section.

    Please let us know what you think.

    Hi Julka,
    I cannot see the Display Options in the Advanced Tab.
    Thank you.

    Hi Omnibus.

    My apologies, but at the moment, the Display Options section is only available when the plugin is in WordPress mode, which allows you to control all your sharing tools within WordPress.

    Somehow, we didn’t realize that users in AddThis mode would also want easy access to those options as well, but we are already working on adding these into a future update. I will let you know when that’s available.

    Hi Julka,

    well, thank you.

    Hi Omnibus.

    We released the 5.0.5 version of the plugin just a couple minutes ago, and it adds the Twitter via functionality for users in AddThis mode.

    Please let us know if you have any issues.

    Hi Julka,

    just checked and all is fine, thank you.
