Publication plugin

Hi
Don’t know if this is possible.. but I am looking for a plugin that allows my website to display publications (mostly in pdf but might also be Word and PowerPoint) in a thumbnail preview mode much like on the link below.
Does anyone know if such a plugin exists and if not what would be the best alternative?
