moved site from subdirectory to main directory now images not appearing

If you have acces to phpmyadmin you could try this: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/migrating-wordpress-inmotion-hosting/correct-image-links

If the solution from above not possible you could try to change all image links manualy?

Did you changed the links in the setting from sub.domain.com to domain.com?

If uploading doesn’t work change the filepremission of the uploads folder (found inside the wp-content folder) to 755.
