Retaining field content after submission

Is there a way of retaining the content of the form fields after the form has been submitted?
So for example, I have a form with five fields, the user will complete these fields, submit the form, the data will be submitted as usual, but also will remain in the form fields. The user can edit one or more of the fields and submit the form again. Continuing to do so for as many times as is required. (So the don’t have to fill in every field.)
Im anticipating a single user using the form multiple times over a short period of time, for example an hour, but without navigating away from the form.
