Embed Movies

I think the simplest way is to upload them to YouTube or something similar and embed them.

I have a YouTube account. I tried putting the URL in wordpress last night and it didn’t work. I have a private page and want to keep it that way…So even if is mine and private I cant load private youtube loads?

That may be the case – does it work on a non-private page?

I have activated the oEmbed styling plugin. Then I go to a youtube video copy the URL and place it on a separate line in the post editor. Then just the URL will show not the video. Why is this?
