Is this pluging stil safe as matter of security?

    Well, it is actually no more useful, now you can deactivate trackbacks pingback on WP options

    It’s true you can disable *receiving* trackbacks/pingbacks in the “Discussion” settings. But AFAIK, If you want trackbacks/pingbacks from other blogs but not your own, you still need this plugin.
