Firefox v35 images clipping

This might be an incompatibility with an older version of WordPress. Updating to WP 4.1 and updating all other plugins seems to have resolved the issue for us.

I have updated to WP 4.1 and all plugins are up-to-date but two of the plugins (Secondary HTML content and WP Vegas) state that they have not been tested against version 4.1. So the images are still clipping…

I’m going to be looking into this hopefully this weekend. I’ve checked vegas.jamesdbruner.com on firefox and I didn’t notice an issue but I was in a rush. Like I said, hopefully this weekend I’ll get a chance to give this issue some attention.

I’m having the same problem with Firefox 35.

Ah, sorry I’ve been a little scatter brained lately. I do believe that wp vegas is running 1.3.4 and it does look like the newest version is 1.3.5 so I’ll go ahead and update this when I get a moment and hopefully that will solve this issue. Expect an update in the very near future. I’ll post here again once I’ve pushed the update live so you guys can test it out and let me know if it works to resolve the issue.

Alright, I’ve updated the script to 1.3.5 in WP Vegas v2.2 so please let me know if that fixes the issues you guys are having!

Unfortunately the update didn’t help at all. Same kind of image clipping is still happening. Also in your https://vegas.jamesdbruner.com/ own site.

I don’t know if it matters at all, but I am using Mac and Firefox 35.1. I haven’t tested this with PC.

Apparently, Firefox 35 is to blame. it seems that other sliders are affected, too:

I tested in Firefox 34 and it worked just fine and then on 35 and yes I’m seeing it clip the slides on a PC as well. Thanks for that link leemon.

I’m still going to look into this more over the weekend. This is quite bothersome.

I am experiencing the exact same issue described by others on Firefox 35 (both Win and Mac). The site at moment is in a dev environment.

I confirm that for me – using FF 35 – the issue appears also on your own site (https://vegas.jamesdbruner.com/) but not on https://vegas.jaysalvat.com/.

I hope there is a solution. As you mention, it is quite bothersome ??

I remplaced the WP Vegas Slider by the Slider Vegas, but it’s the same.
So, is there a solution?

In Firefox 36 (just released) the issue seems to be fixed (at least in my case).
