• Hi!

So apparently my hosting company sent me an email saying the following:

    /thekitchenwhisperer/wp-includes/images/smilies/about.php: SiteLock-PHP-SHELL-md5-djx.UNOFFICIAL FOUND
    /thekitchenwhisperer/wp-includes/images/wlw/sidebar.php: JCDEF.PHP.CMDSHELL-01N.UNOFFICIAL FOUND
    /thekitchenwhisperer/wp-includes/images/wlw/customize.pl: PHP.C99-7 FOUND
    /thekitchenwhisperer/wp-includes/images/wlw/locale.php: HG.WSO.Shell.9.UNOFFICIAL FOUND

I’ve removed those files however until they can re-scan my account I can’t log in to the WP Admin dashboard to create an XML Export. I’ve already created a database backup however don’t I also need to create the XML export for all content as well if I have to rebuild my site elsewhere?

If I do, how can I create an XML export without access to the Dashboard Tool?

    Thanks!

No need for that, all you need is the Database backup and your /wp-content/uploads/ directory. ??

The XML export is basically just a different format of your posts and comments database tables, it doesn’t even include the uploaded media.

If you have a database backup, and your /wp-content/uploads/ directory, you have everything.

    James,
    Thanks for this information.

I am very new to moving a WordPress from one hosting site to another.

With the /wp-content/uploads/ directory, do you just copy and replace anything in that folder in the new hosting folder?
