Post doesn't close when I click on the –

When you click on the + to open a post it shows the post as one long paragraph instead of separate paragraphs the way that it displays on the back end.
Also when the post is open and you click – it doesn’t close the post down. Can you tell me how to make these adjustments and can I do them from the widget or do I need to go into Edit CSS, thank you!
