• Some of my clients told me they have problems with the contact form.

When they click on the submit button only appears the two spinning arrows icon but doesn’t appears the message “Your message has been sent successfully.” so my customers click again the submit button and I receive one email for each click on the submit button so I receive many many emails form the same person, my clients never saw the message of success end of the form and they thinks something gone wrong.

I have 3 or 4 weeks with this problem.

    Can any one help me?

I am having the same issue, I changed the theme, issue still occurred and I also disabled all the plugins and still nothing.

I’m having the same issue. I swear I have read each of the posts related that I found over the Internet and I couldn’t solve the issue yet.
I’m running a multisite with 16 subsites and is weird that in 3 of them forms are working OK but unfortunatly not in the rest.
I was developing the WP network in a dev server (where forms were working OK) and I moved to a production server and there started the issues… forms are sent but no confirmation is shown
HTML5 is validated OK there are no errors on the code…
I’ve tried to deactivate all other plugins and it doesn’t work anyway…
Create a new form and embed the code in a new page… doesn’t work
Important: I have a 500 Internal server error in the console when I press the SEND button
The copy I have in my dev server is still working ok

Sorry I think is the same issue, maybe in different environment…
but, anyway, I solved my issue deactivating de wp_footer(); in that page. Or you can try just to deactivate some of the scripts there in the wp_footer.
Maybe this help someone else to solve the issue.
    cheers

thank you @coreographix I will try your solution
