  • Don’t quite understand what you’re saying.

What change are you making to the h1 tag? CSS change? That would be independent of the text Snowshoeing. That is the Title of the Page.

Navigation link would be affected by the slug, found at the top of the Edit Page.

Maybe explain exactly what you’re trying to do.

My current H1 tag on the page I shared is “Snowshoeing”. That word is also the default navigation link (hover over winter and you will see Snowshoeing as the navigation link in the nav. dropdown).

If I change my H1 tag to “Snowshoeing in Park City”. The navigation drop down for that page changes from “Snowshoeing” to “Snowshoeing in Park City”.

I want to be able to change my h1 tag without changing the navigation link.

Ultimately, I want my h1 as “Snowshoeing in Park City” and my navigation for that page to be “Snowshoeing” not “Snowshoeing in Park City (H1).

Is there a work around or a fix I can implement to make so my h1 (for the specific page) is not the default for the navigation dropdown?

    Make sense?

Can you help me with this?

    Hey there travis,

    Hope you’re well today!

If I understood correctly this is what you’re trying to achieve https://screencast.com/t/wdtrz8A1kxl.

If that is the case then there is a really simple solution for this. Name your page “Snowshoeing in Park City” which will be the title when you open that page.

After that simply go to Appearance >> Menus and change the navigational label of that page to “Snowshoeing” https://screencast.com/t/tlhwrnsBY.

    Hope this helps ??

    Best regards,
    Bojan
