New approval after email update

Would be very cool, if a user’s status was automatically changed to that of an unapproved user, and a new activation code sent out, when a user changes his email address. The user would then have to enter the new activation code before his next login (just like a new user would have to). This way, the web site admin would know that all of the email addresses, for all active user accounts, are always real and working. We’ve had issues where users would activate an account using a working email address and then change it a non-working one, and the web site admin can’t retroactively see which e-mail address was originally used to register.
