widget category doesn't work

  • Hi, I love your plugin, but one thing doesn’t seem to work.
    I would like to show categories by the existing widget. For both posts and events. It is fine if they mix. I synchronised the categories with the existing ones. But the don’t show up in the widget.
    Can you help me with that? Is there anaother way maybe?

    Please describe in detail what exactly you want to have.
    Do you want to display the category or events of a special category?

    I would like to display the categories and the number of events/posts with that categorie as a widget in the sidebar. Like the standard WP widget for showing categories.
    After one of the categories is chosen and clicked on, it should display the events of that special category. And it could show as well the posts of that special category.
    Is that possible? And how can I do that?
