Adding new idea in the admin area problem

When an idea is submitted from the front end it gets post meta attached. That’s not happening when you manually add via the admin. I would add on the front end for now until I can fix that.

2. Sorry for the stupid question :). Where exactly this option is turned on? If you mean, that on the the top, in “Screen Options” , the page of editing ideas have no an option like “Idea Status”.
A page with the list of ideas this option has, I have turned on it, but the status is not displayed, just blank.

1. On the first question: Have I understood correctly, that we have to add ideas through the site, and not through the admin panel?

No worries! Yep so if you go into the settings and you check the box for “Voting Threshold” then that’s where those status’ will come into play. There’s also a Help tap there on the left within the Ideas menu that gives a breakdown of this.

And yes, currently if you want to manually add an idea just add it to the front end. I’ll fix this on the next update.
