can't get compression/minification to work

  • Hello there,

    first of all, thank you for making a great plugin! It worked out of the box for me, but there’s one thing I can’t seem to get to work, which is compression and minification of HTML and CSS and JS files. Now I’ve combed through all the extra options and ticked a few more boxes, but no matter what, things stay as they are. Am I overlooking something? Can somebody please shed a light?

    The site I’m working on is https://www.proesler.com, the English version is a bit thinned out and doesn’t have a “proper” frontpage, but that shouldn’t make any difference.

  • You should tick the “Preserved comment removal” box in the “Minify” settings. (you bloat your CSS code with so many comments in the file!)

    Also, I assume that you added manually every CSS and JS file in the Minify tab. Do not leave in the “Auto” mode.
