new to wordpress – any feedback on my site?

I like the layout, but as a personal taste I loathe the strikethrough while hovering over links.

Fully agreed with skippy. Otherwise nice work on b/w design, I like it.

i’ll have to say i’m gonna second the strike-through… i think the type is kerned/spaced enough, so that legibility is not lost, and on such a bold contrast design they add groovy little areas of interest on the page…. looks great!

Excellent use of contrast. Most people blow it when using a black background, but you got it right.
I can’t tell what that image on the upper right is, though. It kinda looks like a boxing nun, but I’m not sure.
The strikethough for links isn’t a choice I’d make, but I think it’s fine for your design. The only time my cursor is over a link is when I’m about to click on it, so it’s a moot point to me.
