Custom Skins seem to be breaking dropdown menus

  • Hi,

    I’ve recently installed a few of the custom skins, and they look great.

    However, we have a number of forms on our site (some more complex than others), and the use of the custom skins seems to break any dropdowns on all of my forms.

    I really only want a custom skin applied to one form (which is a simple one, without dropdowns) – is there a way to do that, to avoid this issue?

  • Please include a link to the “custom skins” you are referring to. If others here are able to understand your actual problem, they may be able and willing to offer a possible solution.

    Thanks for the really useful feedback.

    I am using Contact Forms 7.

    I have installed some of the custom skins found here: https://themeover.com/plugin-styles/

    I have installed Microloader in order to do this.

    The skins work fine and look good (as mentioned) however, do not seem to work on any forms that have dropdown menus. Specifically, clicking the dropdown menu when a skin is applied does nothing – no options show up.

    At this stage, I have uninstalled these themes/skins and have used CSS to style my form because it was breaking forms that are crucial to a client.

    I cannot link you an example as I cannot afford to have my forms by live and broken.

    I hope this is enough information.

    Sorry but it’s impractical to give you advice without a link to a CF7 form where you are having this issue.

    ??We always have a development site setup as a sub-domain on the same server for every site we develop, for this and a host of other reasons.

    Alternativing you could add the CF7 form at another site where you can provide a link.??
