Total limitation with 2 fields ?

  • Hi all,

    I put a registration form to an event on my WP.
    At some point, I ask people if they want to come with siblings. My organization has a limitation of 2 accompanying people per registered user.
    I put one field for adults, one for kids, as number fields (from 0 to 2 for the limitation).
    But they still can put 2 adults and 2 kids (so 4 people instead of the 2 max)

    Is there any way I can limit the total of these two fields to 2 ?

  • Looks like you are looking for Conditional Logic which is not available directly in the Contact Form 7 plugin.

    It can be done via custom programing but you would need to be rather skilled at WordPress development using PHP and/or jQuery.

    Some of the premium Form plugins do offer some Conditional Logic including Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms.
