    Hello, I’ve installed this plugin and created and account, but I would like to know the best way to go about setting up products if what I’m selling is Web Hosting. I would like for the cart to charge the initial sale and there would obviously be a recurring charge. I’m a total noob to WordPress and eBusiness so please let me know what questions I can answer to get better help. Thanks for your time!

  • Hi Joel,

    With Ecwid, you can set up a store selling a service like web hosting. However, Ecwid doesn’t have a built-in tool for recurring payments. There are some workarounds, e.g. issuing a PayPal invoice for a customer monthly or annually by hand. But this of course has some downsides. In particular, the renewal orders will not be created automatically in your Ecwid Control panel.
