phpGiggle and WordPress 1.2

  • Does phpGiggl work with WordPress 1.2?
    I’ve just come along on the MT Train (which departs hourly from MT to WP, one way tickets only), so far I love WP and have redesigned my site for the occasion.
    The one stumbling block is I heavly used Brad’s Macros plugin in MT to replace keywords in to glossary page links, or smilies etc etc. While I know the textile plugin does alot of this, it doesn’t seem to offer the ability to define replacement terms, jut definitions on the page.
    phpGiggle seemed the ideal soloution for me, but I can’t find any information on using it with the new 1.2 release of WP. Can any one offer any advice on this?

    Are there any instructions?
    The read me file talks about a my-hacks.php file, which I can’t find in 1.2 (It could be newbie blindness)

    You have to make the my-hacks file and turn it on in the admin area. It is just a file called my-hacks.php in the main WP directory and opens with <?php -all your hacks that are not plugins – ?>

    I have turned the phpGiggle hacks file into a plugin for 1.2 which I will make available if and when my webserver comes up (it isn’t hard ot do anyway)

    I’m wonderin if I am doing something really wrong. This does not work for me nor does the LJ Usertag one. I am getting no errors but nothing is showing up like it should either. Am the only one?

    I forgot to add that phpGiggle also says that everything is vaidating when you log into it. I am willing to give someone admin access temporarly if they can help me resolve this and the LJ user tag issue. Every other hack I have gotten to work so far. =(

    I get no errors, it looks wonderful, but I get no hyperlinkage ….
    Anyone got a loaded Clue Bat ?

    Ah …. hmmm.. okay … so if you don’t start a url with ‘https://&#8217; then it won’t work.

    I’m having a lil trouble. It seems that I’m missing phpgiggle-shameless.inc.php file from the includes sub of the phpGiggle dir. Can anybody help me figure out where I can pick up another? I’ve already emailed biermana.org about it.
    Anyway here’s the error I got…

    My phpGiggle doesn’t link something unless it’s directly between tags IE: <b>AL</b> works but AL doesn’t.
