Unwanted code appearing in my Vantage theme

  • Just installed Vantage theme and noticed if I right click on my webpage to view the source code this strange code referencing an unknown website appears as follows:
    <link rel=”profile” href=”https://gmpg.org/xfn/11&#8243; />

    Problem: why is this foreign unwanted website in the code of my website, and can I remove it without any problems?
