• Hello,

I have try looking in the faq and search for a similar issue, and I didn’t found anything, but it can be that I didn’t look carefully enough. Anyway, I run into the following problem and I hope I can find some help here.

According to the MailChimp official documentation, when you sign in using the official form, it picks the browser’s preferred language and stores it along with the user information, thus, allowing you to create segments depending on the language, and giving you the chance to send emails in different languages depending on this information.
However, when a user sign in to the newsletter using this plugin, this information is not stored, so we have to change it by hand.

I don’t know if it something broken or it has never been implemented, but it seems to me quite straightforward to fix it, just adding one more field to the merge_vars (mc_language). I found this information in the api documentation.

    Best,

    Alejandro
