If YT4WP is activated other plugins that use google stop working

Thanks for reporting the issue. I haven’t run into the issue myself, and I am using YOAST SEO on a few of the sites in conjunction with YT4WP.

MY best guess is that they too are including a few of the class files provided by Google.

I will have a look at what files they are loading, and what files I have bundled with the plugin and see what I can come up with.

We definitely don’t want any conflicts with other Google related plugins!

Hi Evan,

that’s a quick response ?? YT4WP does work fine in combination with YOAST SEO. But it gives me problems with Google Analytics by Yoast. It starts telling me to re-authenticate with google when i enable YT4WP. If you need more info or if i can help in any other way, please let me know.

Ah woops, my mistake. I just saw Yoast and immediately assumed yoast seo. That definitely leads me to believe it’s a conflict with the class files being loaded more than once.

I will have a look as soon as possible.

I just had the chance to activate Yoast Analytics on my site. I didn’t seem to run into an issue having both active. It seems that I’ve remained logged in to both plugins, without being kicked out of one.

I did have this plugin active and connected before installing and linking Yoast analytics.

That being said, I really like the way Yoast has the authentication process set up. To my knowledge something like this isn’t possible for the YouTube data API, but I am certainly going to look into how he has done it.

Anything to make the link up process easier is a win in my eyes. I feel that’s the largest deterrent to using this plugin at the moment.
