• Ever since downloading the plugin the Visual editor has stopped working and only shows a blank white space.

    I have made sure the “Disable the visual editor when writing” is not checked for all users, I have also deactivated, deleted and re-installed the plugin, and cleared the cache, but still nothing.

    Also by opening the browser debug tool I receive errors such as the following:

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request)
    tinymce.min.js?ver=4107-20141130:4 Failed to load: https://www.i-ras.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/tinymce-advanced/mce/code/plugin.min.js

    I’m quite new to WordPress but any help would be hugely appreciated!

    Looks like a server problem or a bad installation of the plugin. First thing would be to contact your host and ask them to check why the server returns error 400 (which is somewhat unusual). This may be caused by bad file permissions on the server.

    If they don’t fix it, try installing the plugin “the old school” way: download the zip, unzip it on your computer, upload the resulting folder to the plugins directory on the server with FTP.
