George, I sent this to you in email, but figured it probably would be best to post here as well.

Since the last update to the plugin, Facebook is having issues getting my post to come over. I think there might be two issues here. One with a server issue, possibly, but one with your plugin.

If you use my site, https://www.thetwelfthstep.com in the debugger tool for Facebook, I get the following errors:

og:image could not be downloaded or is too small og:image was not defined, could not be downloaded or was not big enough. Please define a chosen image using the og:image metatag, and use an image that’s at least 200x200px and is accessible from Facebook. Image ‘https://thetwelfthstep.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/For-New-Blog4-1024×315.jpg’ will be used instead.

Parser Mismatched Metadata The parser’s result for this metadata did not match the input metadata. Likely, this was caused by the data being ordered in an unexpected way, multiple values being given for a property only expecting a single value, or property values for a given property being mismatched. Here are the input properties that were not seen in the parsed result: ‘fb:admins’

To find the object, these are the redirects we had to follow
    original https://www.thetwelfthstep.com/
    301 https://thetwelfthstep.com/
The following will be treated as a redirect by the crawler:
    A HTTP redirect
    A <link rel=”canonical” href=”..” /> tag
    A <meta property=”og:url” content=”..” /> tag
The final URL, which we tried to extract metadata from is highlighted in bold

Also, I went back and did an existing scrape on my posting from the previous night that was successful and saw that it had the following issue:

Inferred Property The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

Any new scrapes at the present moment on any links on my site are not giving me the following:

Error parsing input URL, no data was cached, or no data was scraped.

So I’m not sure if something bigger is going on tonight or not, but if you get a chance to look into this that would be great… I haven’t changed anything in quite a while on any of my blog other than adding new postings…

    Sincerely,
    Andrew

Andrew, I have replied to your emails, but I’ll also post here. I see no problem with the meta tags in your pages and had no issues accessing your website using a browser. I also tried the FB debug tool on one of your pages and there were no warnings.

Andrew, I’m marking this topic as resolved, as the warnings we talked about have nothing to do with the plugin output. Feel free to reopen it in case you continue to experience problems with the facebook debug tool.

This was indeed a server issue. I received an email from GoDaddy and they fixed it. So far that has consistently seemed to be the problem when my blog hasn’t posted or one of the shared media’s hasn’t gone through. I think only once it was due to a metadata issue and that’s because FB changed their policy. Regardless, this occurrence is definitely resolved. Thanks George! ??
