MyCred buy on PayPal checkout no price to pay

Hi.

Can you show me how you are using the mycred_buy or mycred_buy_form shortcodes? Do you get zero for any amount of points you try and buy?

Also, did you go to the myCRED > Settings page and setup your default buyCRED Settings after you enabled the add-on?

( it shows the correct form. in my case 10 is the minimum unit that needs to be purchased. I also tried other values but in the PayPal checkout it always says ZERO to pay)

@gabriel today I tried again to check out with paypal from buycred,

this time an error warning of paypal showed up saying:

You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks.

What did you set your exchange rate to? When you look at the pending item, does it show the correct amount and cost? Is it only PayPal that is not showing the correct value?

I would recommend you try making a new purchase instead of using a pending one.

– the exchange rate is: 1 “my virtual currency” = 0,01 Euro

– no in pending item it also always shows 0

– I have only installed PayPal

today I also used it in sandbox mode, as you can see buyCred is sending a request for ZERO
to paypal but the QUANTITY is also wrong because set to 1, although I put in 500. here is the code:

@gabriel I THINK I FOUND MY MISTAKE !!!!!!!!!

I set the exchange rate to 0,01 and NOT 0.01 ( with a dot !!!!! )

quantity must be 1 btw ( in understood that now aswell)

.. or must quantity show the amount of currency that I want to purchase. it is always 1 in my case

Ah yes, you are correct, it can not be a comma. It raises a good point. I have to look in into this and see if we can prevent it from happening to others.

@gabriel, really sorry to bother you. But I checked everything and now my only problem is that user who buy always stop because they entered a currency amount of lets say 5000 and than on the paypal checkout out they read 1 , so they think they will only pay for 1 instead for 5000

– mmh one transaction is like buying 1 article right .
so maybe it shows correctly , because this is how paypal does it.

is there a way maybe to add the amount of purchased currency in the description ?

in item name it says: Purchase additional %plural% with PayPal

can I also add here the amount of my currency ? i think that would be it

or does the quantity amount have to be the amount of purchased currency to be later on add correctly to the user balance ?
