2 fields – 1 line (child theme not working)

Hi there,

I want to have a form with 2 fields and submit button, all on the one line. I’ve done lots of searching, and tried the following:

– creating a child theme manually
– creating a child theme using a plugin
– Adding custom css to my theme (it has option to do so)

Absolutely nothing seems to change the appearance of my form.

I am on:

wp: 4.1
themeL fidelity 1.52

Can anyone provide any further advice?

Im not a heavy coder by any means…..
