• I am locked out of my site because I typed in the incorrect password. The plugin has added my IP address to the blocked list and I am no longer able to login. If I disable the plugin from FTP, I can login, but as soon as I enable it I am locked out again.

    Is there any way to remove my IP address from the blocked list from the FTP or backend?

    I really don’t want to have to uninstall and reinstall the plugin and redo all of the settings. Is there any other way to fix this problem?

    Hi audioaddiktion have a look at your .htaccess file and see if you can stop your IP address?

    That did not work. Is there any way to get to the blocked list of the plugin from FTP so I can remove our IP that way? I can not fix the problem in the .htaccess file.

    Hi, you will have to remove the plugin completely and reinstall it again.

    Follow the instructions below.

    – FTP to your host and rename this plugin’s folder or delete it.

    – FTP the .htaccess file to your computer and edit and remove all the code between and including the tags:
    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

    – Log into phpMyAdmin and locate the dabase for the website you are having problems with. Go to the wordpress “options” table. Look for the row which has the option_name value of aio_wp_security_configs and delete that row.

    I was able to login after an hour. I went into my settings and upped the number of login attempts and decreased the time that I would be locked out for. Thank you for your quick response to my issue! ??
